SUMMARY:Rolf Bauerdick. Look & See
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition\, „Look and See“\, shows fascinating and at the same time stirring works of photographer Rolf Bauerdick (1957-2018). For three decades\, he captured images of people at the margin of society. He was interested in mysteries\, myths and rituals all over the world. His long-term photo documentations\, among others “Gypsy-Passion”\, as well as “Mama\, Du siehst zuviel” (Mom\, you see too much)\, attracted great attention.  For the first time both are now presented together in this exhibition. \nThe graduate theologian and literary scholar worked as a freelance journalist\, author and photographer and wrote socio-critical reports for notable magazines both nationally and internationally\, as well as non-fiction books. Rolf Bauerdick received many awards for his social and socio-political commitment. For his novel\, “The Madonna on the Moon”\, translated worldwide\, he received the European Book Prize 2012. \nThe exhibition is taking place in co-operation with the Catholic Church St. Felizitas and the Protestant Church in Lüdinghausen. SUMMARY:Rolf Bauerdick. Look & See
DESCRIPTION:Die Ausstellung „Look & See“ zeigt faszinierende und zugleich ergreifende Arbeiten von Rolf Bauerdick (1957–2018). Drei Jahrzehnte lang hielt er Menschen in der Mitte und am Rande der Gesellschaft fest und interessierte sich für Mysterien\, Mythen und Rituale auf der ganzen Welt. \nDie Ausstellung findet in Kooperation mit der katholischen Pfarrgemeinde St. Felizitas Lüdinghausen und Seppenrade und der Evangelischen Kirchengemeinde in Lüdinghausen statt. An beiden Orten sind zeitweise Fotografien von Rolf Bauerdick ausgestellt. \nDer studierte Theologe und Literaturwissenschaftler arbeitete als freier Journalist\, Autor und Fotograf und verfasste sozialkritische Reportagen für namenhafte Zeitschriften\, Tageszeitungen und Magazine im In- und Ausland sowie für Hilfsorganisationen. Für sein soziales und gesellschaftspolitisches Engagement wurde Bauerdick vielfach ausgezeichnet. Für seinen ersten und international bekannten Roman „Wie die Madonna auf den Mond kam“ wurde er 2012 mit dem Europäischen Buchpreis ausgezeichnet. \nGroße Beachtung fanden seine Langzeit-Fotodokumentationen\, darunter „Gypsy-Passion“ und „Mama\, Du siehst zuviel“\, welche nun erstmals gemeinsam auf der Burg Vischering präsentiert werden. \nEintritt: 3\,50 € (erm. 2 €)

DESCRIPTION:Das Konzert ist abgesagt. \nDer STERN nennt sie „die neuen jungen Gesichter des deutschen Jazz“\, und in der Tat sorgt die Formation triosence seit einigen Jahren mit Musik\, die unter die Haut geht\, für Furore in der Fachpresse und den Jazzfans. Seit Entstehung der Band im Jahr 1999 hat triosence in Deutschland so ziemlich alles abgeräumt\, was es an Jazzpreisen zu gewinnen gibt – vom  Ostsee-Jazz-Förderpreis über den Studiopreis des Deutschlandfunks\, den Kulturförderpreis der Stadt Kassel und viele andere – bis hin zur Nominierung zum Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik. DESCRIPTION:About two and a half years have gone by since the release of the debut album “A Short Moment Of Zero G”\, and since then the German-French-British trio has been celebrated by the media as well as the general public. The CD received a Jazz-ECHO award and the annual prize of the German Record Critics’ Prize. Among other things\, the jury wrote in its assessment: “A touch of cool swing\, the joy of pointillist sound patches and unexpected twists pervade the eleven pieces. This “velvety revolution” creates what the title of the album promises: short moments of zero gravity.” With their new album Velvet Revolution consistently continue on this path.
